Denise Gold, HAS, M.Ed.
Owner & Hearing Instrument Specialist
Denise Gold has enjoyed serving the needs of the hearing impaired for over 30 years. She has a Masters Degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology from California University of Pennsylvania. She is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and now resides in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is licensed by the state of Florida as a Hearing Instrument Specialist and is also Nationally Board Certified by The Institute of Hearing Sciences. Her father owned and operated two hearing aid offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and she "grew up" in the field.
Her father’s clinics are still open today and are known as Yareck’s Better Hearing Center. Denise relocated to South Florida in 2001. She opened her own office on Burns Road in Palm Beach Gardens in 2010. Denise is a member of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). Denise is also a member of the North County Chamber of Commerce.
She is passionate about improving the lives of the hearing impaired. She has invested herself in training new hearing aid specialists and serving on various international mission trips. She volunteers her time at local health fairs and assisted living facilities. One of Denise’s area of expertise is technology. She regularly attends conferences to be trained on the newest hearing devices. She enjoys educating her patients on how technology can improve the quality of their lives. In her free time she enjoys ballroom and salsa dancing, hiking, travel and spending time with her family and two sweet grandchildren.
Deborah Brooks, Au.D.
Deborah Brooks, Au.D., has been a practicing audiologist since 2001. She has worked in various settings such as non-profit, ENT office, and private practice. Dr. Brooks earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Master's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and Doctorate from Salus University. Originally from New York, she has practiced audiology in Georgia and Florida as well. Her areas of expertise include high tech hearing aids, diagnostics, wireless connectivity, assistive listening devices, and aural rehabilitation. Dr. Brooks is affiliated with the American Speech, Hearing, and Language Association and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her two young boys, husband, and 2 cockapoo dogs. Dr. Brooks is involved with her local Jewish Federation where she helps with events and social groups for women.
Kayce Bramble, Au.D.
Dr. Kayce Bramble has been practicing audiology for over 20 years in South Florida in hearing aid dispensing and Ear, Nose and Throat clinical settings. She was awarded a Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania in 2005. She completed undergraduate coursework at the University of Washington (1991) and obtained a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin (1993). She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a licensed Audiologist in the state of Florida. Her interest in Audiology began during her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Since that time, she has been dedicated to developing her professional experience to include the many aspects of Audiology.
Dr. Bramble is proficient in the evaluation, treatment and management of hearing impairment, dizziness/imbalance, as well as tinnitus disturbances (ringing in the ears). Having worked for several ENT and private practices in the South Florida area, Dr. Bramble is confident in her ability to improve the quality of life for patients suffering from hearing impairments while utilizing the latest technology. Dr. Bramble is dedicated to the profession of audiology and the patients she serves. She is Vice President of Education on the Board of the Florida Academy of Audiology and she also serves on a number of American Academy of Audiology committees. Dr. Bramble is married, has three daughters and lives in Wellington. She is also an accomplished violinist. She has studied violin since childhood and now her own children share her love of the violin.
Linda Laurenzo Valovich, HAS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Linda has been an active Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist in the state of Florida since 1970. Her interest started from childhood after moving from New York when her father opened a hearing aid office in North Miami, FL. in 1958. Linda worked there after school and her passion to help the hearing impaired stems from her father's severe hearing loss due to his military service.
She is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Science, a member of the International Hearing Society and the Florida Society of Hearing Health Care Professionals. Working at Better Hearing Care since 2011, she strives to bring to those with hearing difficulty personal service to precisely identify and find a solution that works best for them.
Lea started working with Better Hearing Care in 2015 providing bookkeeping services for the practice. She became more involved in the practice and began to manage the office in 2016. Lea is a native of Canada and has lived in Florida since 2004. Lea enjoys cooking, going to the beach and she is looking forward to getting a new dog.
